diy bath bombs

youuu guyss!! i'm kind of REALLY R E A L L Y excited about finding this recipe ..
& succeeding with it!!
i live for baths & everything bath to go with it. candles, bubbles .. they're a must for me. and bath bombs make things that much more relaxing & just .. fun!

i got the recipe from here & adapted it just a touch [i'll include the converted measurements as well]. each batch was suppose to make 2 but i was a little short each time, so i made it a little different & it worked out perfectly!

10 tbsp baking soda
5 tbsp corn starch
5 tbsp epsom salt
5 tbsp citric acid [got mine at good earth]

1 tbsp water
1 1/2 tsp coconut oil [melted]
1 tsp essential oil [we used lavender, lemon & peppermint]
2-3 drops of food coloring

flower petals or small flowers [optional]

add all dry ingredients to a medium-sized bowl.
** note: if you want to add color to your bath bombs, half the recipe & mix in two separate bowls **
after all dry ingredients are well-blended, use a small glass bowl to mix all of the wet ingredients together EXCEPT for the food coloring.
if you want two-tone bath bombs, pour half of the liquid mixture into the bowl you want to keep white. then add the food coloring to the glass bowl. then pour the remaining mixture into the second bowl.

once the mixture is slightly damp, just enough for the dry mixture to stick together, start packing them into the molds [make sure you pack tight].
if you are adding flowers or petals, you can choose to put some in the middle of the bomb & top it off, or one or the other [we did both]!!

when you're all done packing, press the two ends together to make a sphere.
gently remove the top of the mold and let dry for about 10-15 minutes.
then remove the bottom one & let dry over night [or for up to 8 hours].

then you're all done!! enjoy!!!
